I thought Jason was very knowledgeable about fireplaces. After he condemned our fireplace he did say that he would put me in touch with a salesman and that I could buy a new one. Nice if I had a pocketful of money. I tried to have him give me some low budget ideas but he didn’t have many ideas. First their phone line doesn’t work, so I had to wait for a call from their hard to talk to AI system, then they cancelled their appointment an hour before our appointment because they were “prioritizing other clients” after confirming the appointment multiple times. Now my place has no heat for days because I thought they would be reliable. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CHARLATANS!!! Especially if you have an Airbnb property, you can’t count on them to show up before your guests check in.Posted on Google

We were able to schedule an appointment within two days, which was better than any of the other companies that we had called. Our service technician was named Solomon and he did a phenomenal job. R A64 days agoI used this company years ago when it was Hartman heating. I am very disappointed by their recent service. I will say my unit is really old, however it has been a solid unit. The AC went out over the 4th of July weekend. They told me it would be 200+ for the service call. The technician came out and reset the electrical connection and according to my tenants was more concerned about upselling a new unit and maintenance plan. When he called me he told me he what he did and that he replaced the batteries, which I had just replaced 2 months prior and then he set the schedule on the thermostat. On top of the $264 charge to come out they charged $74 for the replacement batteries. And got it “working.” It stopped working again the next morning. My regular HVAC person came out fixed the issue for half the cost and it has not had any issues since. The push to sell a new unit for $$$$$ is out of control especially when companies advertise they can repair. And when you’re paying an high premium I would expect better service for the money spent. Again disappointing especially when an honest service person will tell you that it can and was fixed. A few days later someone called me fro km the office and asked me to review the service and I explained I had not done it yet as I was pretty frustrated. I provided a few details the gal said hike on let me look into it, was talking to someone in the background and then hung up on me. Several hours later I received an email with repairs costing $2800+ and a statement that they don’t recommend repair due to the age. So very poor service twice from the same company.Posted on Google

B B247 days agoI called this place in a bit of a panic as my fireplace suddenly wasn’t working. It had been checked and cleaned and shouldn’t have had any issues. Tyler (Ty) came to the house and was seriously the best! He is overall a great human being but also is a great technician. He kept me involved and showed me what he was doing and went through all the testing with me. He found the issue and we were able to get it fixed. Honestly, I have not had the greatest experience with fireplace techs in the past, but Ty was great. The company’s prices were very fair and comparable and I would for sure use this place again. Joshua Doty253 days agoI had a great experience with Comfort Solutions and our technician, Todd. I initially called because we were due for a fall HVAC checkup but we also noticed a malfunction in our gas fireplace. When I called Comfort Solutions (based on a friend’s recommendation) the customer service representative said they have technician who could address both requests in the same call, outstanding! Todd arrived right on time. He also arrived with his own booties to cover his boots and protect my floors. Two characteristics I look for in tradesmen are arriving on time and respecting my home. Todd already started on a great note. Next, he looked at the fireplace, identified the issue and proposed a solution. I thought he would need to come back another day after ordering parts but he had the needed part in his truck. Wonderful! In no time Todd had our 32 year old fireplace looking and running as good as new. Finally, Todd performed checkups on both the HVAC systems, confirmed they are running well and gave us a few tips to keep them in top shape. It can be unsettling finding new tradesmen to work in your home. I am so grateful to have found Comfort Solutions. I look forward to welcoming them back to our home for years to come.Posted on Google

And he did that easily in a few minutes. It was a lot of money to pay, (plus buy a new remote) but we were not certain what button to push. We will know better next time. I have been a customer for 12 years and appreciate the honesty from this company and their employees. New Post 9/24/2024 Mark came at 5:30 pm - the service window was 1-6. I had scheduled service for 2 furnaces and fireplace. He left at 8:30. He was very personable but did not change the filter on my humidifier which is always done and couldn’t get the blower to work and couldn’t give me suggestions on who to call to fix it. My fireplace looks very clean and nice but the blower doesn’t work on it. We had it on last week and it did. Now I need to call someone to fix the blower and change the humidifier filter.Posted on Google

Desarae Page269 days agoWe called after attempting to set an appt with another company multiple times over the last month or so. We thought we'd be spending another Christmas with no working fireplace as our calls kept getting dropped and never returned. Called Comfort Solutions last week and they were able to get us scheduled in just a few days, on Christmas-eve. I don't recall the gentleman's name that we spoke with on the phone, but he was incredibly polite and informative. They later texted to let us know they could start earlier if we wanted to have more time that afternoon to do holiday prep, which we accepted. This would have been a simple-ish repair but we tried to do it ourselves a while back and we lost a part that turned out was working fine. Oops. Alex had to replace that part, then figure out the original problem. He figured out the problem quickly, but the part we needed was just a half size larger than the parts he had stocked on his truck. Thankfully he had a kit with the correct size that he was able to use. Alex got it working within our appt window time slot, while keeping us updated on the process the whole time so we could focus on preparing for our party that evening, and he was also able to do a tune up on a small furnace in our room addition. I can not express how excited and thankful we were that he got it all up and running, cleaned up, and looking snazzy in time for Christmas. 5 stars! We will definitely use this company again. It turned out that the gas was turned off, but because of lack of use, it was very dirty and had spiders inside. He was very thorough, covering my furniture with tarps, etc. All in all, he was polite, knowledgeable and very friendly with my two dogs who wanted to help. Juan our installer, did professional work, explained how everything operated and did a great job cleaning up on the way out. I toured their store in Sandy to get a feel for what I wanted. I liked the Napoleon fireplace insert we chose for the look of the flames and the fact that the blower seemed quieter than some other brands we checked out.
