Responded to service call for Lennox furnace blower making abnormal noise during operation. Upon arrival, performed visual inspection of furnace unit located in interior mechanical closet. Conducted operational test of blower assembly while system was running. Identified source of noise as deteriorated blower motor mounting hardware showing signs of corrosion and wear at connection points. Inspected motor bearings, blower wheel balance, and mounting brackets for mechanical defects. Found corrosion present on mounting bolt assembly causing vibration and rattling during blower operation. Verified all electrical connections, refrigerant lines, and PVC venting pipes secure and properly installed. Confirmed furnace and AC system functioning within normal parameters despite noise issue.
